Celebrating Rabindra Jayanti 2025 at Aditya Birla Vani Bharati, Rishra
Aditya Birla Vani Bharati, Rishra, paid a heartfelt tribute to Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore, on the occasion of Rabindra Jayanti 2025, celebrating his 164th birth anniversary with immense pride, cultural splendor, and student creativity. The celebration took place on campus in the presence of esteemed guests, enthusiastic students, and dedicated faculty members.




A Grand Beginning: Lighting the Lamp & Opening Song
The morning began on an auspicious note with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the enlightenment and timeless legacy of Rabindranath Tagore. This was followed by a soulful rendition of “Hey Chiro Nutan”, an iconic Rabindra Sangeet that set the tone for the day.

Welcome Speech by Secretary Mr. Amlan Das
The Secretary of the school, Mr. Amlan Das, welcomed the guests and audience with an inspiring speech that highlighted the significance of Tagore’s thoughts in shaping young minds and promoting holistic education through art, music, and culture.


Mesmerizing Dance Drama Performances
One of the major highlights of the program was a series of beautifully choreographed dance performances based on Tagore’s celebrated dance dramas:
- Chitrangada – showcasing valor and identity
- Shyama – reflecting love, sacrifice, and justice
- Shapmochon – symbolizing redemption and hope

Combined Recitation & Music: Theme “Shishu”

Audio Drama: “Avvorthona”
