Aditya Birla Vani Bharati School Featured on Calcutta News

Aditya Birla Vani Bharati, Rishra has been featured on Calcutta News for our cultural excellence and the powerful staging of Chitrangada by our students during the 66th Founders Day Celebration.

Here is what Calcutta News highlighted –

Why does an English medium school perform Chitrangada again and again?

Calcutta News reported that while the school has staged performances like The Pied Piper of Hamelin, it is Rabindranath Tagore’s Chitrangada that returns every year on Founders Day, presented beautifully by a hundred young voices.

Our Principal Goutam Sarkar Sir shared the reason behind this tradition – To nurture emotional, creative and cultural growth, the school arranges a wide range of performances including dance, music and drama. In today’s world of mobile screens and fast reels, these activities are essential for developing young minds and helping children stay connected to values, heritage and expressive arts.

We are grateful to Calcutta News for recognising our effort to blend tradition with modern education.
